THEFT at KSDT

Recently, there was a break-in at KSDT (literally) and stole many of our equipment at the radio station. The station is currently closed as the police are undergoing their investigation. Here is the email that the general manager at KSDT, Meredith Wong, sent out:

Two incidences of theft have occurred at the station in the last 24 hours. During the daytime on Tuesday, 2/16 around 3pm a macbook pro was taken from the lobby. The laptop is silver with no stickers on it. It belongs to Cairie Riney and probably still has all of her documents and projects on it.

Later, between 2-8am this morning (2/17), the back door was smashed in and equipment was taken from the DJ booth. If you have any information about either of these incidences, please let us know. The UCSD campus police are investigating at the moment and we are taking appropriate measures. The station is closed and shows are canceled until Monday. Thank you for your support and for being part of KSDT.

Hopefully this issue will get resolved quickly. Stay tuned.
